This lovely Freeman 22 is starting to look really smart, we are now awaiting her chrome rubbing strake.

With the painting completed the large task of putting all the deck fittings back on the boat has been happening and all the windows are being refurbished and put back in. She is looking a million dollars.

Freeman 22 update The team are making great progress on the Freeman 22 she is starting to look really smart, the gas locker has been moved forward for ease of access and the deck fittings are being put back on.

The team have been busy adapting the cockpit area seating to allow for the gas bottles to be lifted in and out of their box.

The painting has transformed her and she is looking super shiny.

Works continue on the painting the Freeman and she will be transformed quickly.

Much sanding and filing and faring is being carried out in preparation for her hull respray.

The repairs have been made to the coachroof and the cockpit veneer has been replaced and varnished. Now the hull and superstructure is in the process of being filled, faired and painted.

Unfortunately as is often the way we have discovered some rot inside in the coachroof so some repairs are being made, she came outside of the boat shed briefly today while engines were put in another boat.

The topsides have all been prepped and are in grey primer and she is ready to be sprayed, while sanding the varnish in the cockpit we have discovered the veneer has worn thin so the customer has decided to replace it.

Great progress has been made with the paint preparations on the Freeman 22 and she is now in grey primer.

This well loved Freeman 22 has come to HMS for a mini refit, she is the ideal river cruiser and the owners want to ensure many more happy cruising years are possible.
