Bethamar Update July 2021:

With the transom repair completed, a new sail and a host of other jobs completed by the team Bethamar was ready to set sail for Scotland for a summer cruise. Phil enlisted the help of Howard (owner of Maimonde as crew for the passage) the two look relaxed as they planned the journey and what they would need to take including fuel and provisions! With a perfect weather window they set sail. They are well on the way and looking like they are thoroughly enjoying the trip.

Bethamar Update May 2021:

Bethamar has returned for some maintenance works and in the process we have discovered the transom has quite a lot of rot and needs replacing, a previous repair has been carried out but now the rot is too bad and it all needs replacing. This is where the heavy davits are attached. Here we see the rotten wood which has been removed and Paul has now made a template for the new transom, next he can prepare and shape the new piece of timber.
