Update 30th August 2022: 

The team have been working hard to complete the works before she heads back to the River Deben. With her newly painted decks she is looking refreshed and updated.

Update 8th August 2022: 

The team have been busy working on the linings in the saloon cupboards and putting the fittings all back on the deck.

Update 21st June 2022: 

The topsides of the boat have been painted and now the team are putting the deck fittings back on board. This is a difficult job with many small access points to get to the back of the fittings!

Update 19th May 2022: 

The painting is well underway and she is looking good. The sprayer is coming back to finish off tomorrow.

Update 10th March 2022: 

The first coat of primer has gone on.

Update 4th March 2022: 

The high build has been sanded and now we are ready to primer undercoat in preparation for spraying.

Update 25th February 2022: 

The high build has been put on and is ready for faring prior to painting. The clients visited today to see the progress.

Update 22nd February 2022:

The painting tent is being erected around Windhover in preparation for the painting to be carried out.

Update 18th February 2022:

The painting and finishing team have been doing a great job juggling all the jobs we have on in the yard, the hull repairs and sanding continue prior to painting.

Update 9th February 2022:

The sanding of the deck and coachroof continues ready for the repairs to be carried out prior to painting.

Update 28th January 2022:

The deck fittings have been removed and the sanding is in progress, we have discovered some repairs that need to be carried out before the decks are ready for painting.

Update 14th January 2022:

Windhover is a Westerley Seahawk she has come to the Southwold yard for a small refit before the sailing season, her decks are to be repainted with non slip Kiwi grip, prior to this all the fittings have to be taken off so the preparations can be carried out and the painting done inside the boat shed to allow for curing.
