1954 Andrews 30ft Greyhound

11th April 2023

With the flag blue and Copper theme looking fabulous it was decided we would use copper coat instead of the usual anti foul for the hull underneath the waterline. We then echoed the copper with a copper boot top. She looked stunning as she came out of the tent in the Spring sunshine and proved to be a real head turner for the crowds of holiday makers passing. She has now made her way to Marlow to have her engine fitted and for all the trims and finishing touches.

27th March 2023

With the hull preparation finally finished the first coat of top coat was sprayed over the weekend and she is looking stunning in Flag blue.

14th March 2023

The 1954 Andrews 30ft Greyhound is looking fabulous after its several layers of lacquer, now we just have the hull to prep and spray.

2nd March 2023

The finishing team are making great progress with the many coats of varnish being applied and the sign writer has done some beautiful copper leaf lettering on the bow.

3rd February 2023

This is a 30ft Andrews Slipper launch which has come to HMS for a repair and to be finished. The team are making great progress with the prep, she is due to be completed and on display at the very prestigious Salon Prive event which will be held in April at Blenheim Palace. Nothing like a deadline to focus the minds!!
